Sermon One | Accidental | Voice
[There was the sounds of birds chirping, leaves moving in the wind and the sound of someone mumbling to themselves.] This is not good at all- what if the Church thinks I ran away?
[Now the sound of grass rustling as someone is walking around.] But I have wings- so, maybe this is a dream? Maybe some symbolism? What do wings represent? Um. [There is more pacing.] Wings. Wings. Wings.
In the fifth book and the third sermon, Mother Monoya said 'And thusly The Lady felt as if she had wings, and was moving further from the body of the Dei-' [A gasp.] Nonono- Does this mean I am only moving further from the Church? But in the seventh sermon she said 'The Lady knew her spirit could soar and look down on the peoples of the lands, to see the full body of the Deity and learn of em.' So maybe its a sign because I am still ground bound that while I have wings I have the potential to fully learn of the Deity but I am stuck here by my own insecurities. What would Abel say?
What would HE say?
He would say: You're thinking too much about the symbolism, so why don't you just enjoy the idea of fliting around with my birds. But- there has to be a reason why I am dreaming about this. I have never dreamed about wings before. So, I will pretend I am on a journey in my dreamworld in my mind.
Maybe I will learn something and can bring it back to the waking world if I remember it. Which I won't. Because really, who remembers dreams in that much detail? What is this? [Suddenly the journal is picked up. There is a bespectacled man with gray eyes and light blond hair. He narrows his eyes as he looks over the journal and realizes it is recording. Suddenly, the expression quickly changes, from one curiosity, to fear to neutral. Almost blank. Luce can see other people in it, so he knew that he had to be impersonal- be The Judge.]
To whom is using this…device-
['It is a dream right? So, it can’t be witchcraft, right?' He thinks to himself]
I require some information on this locale and perhaps someone could tell me why I have wings.
[Why ponder symbolism when one can simply have it spelled out to him. His mind would be nice and tell him, right? Right!]
I have just arrived, and judging from other notes I have seen, others have just arrived too.
[Luce paused as he tried to think of how to sort this out mentally.]
I know it is improper of me to read into their personal affairs, so perhaps could someone be so polite to tell me the answers to the basic questions:
Who is in charge here?
What am I doing here?
When is this?
Where am I?
and How did I get here?
[Luce pauses for a few more moments, feeling out the next sentence in his mouth.]
Of course, it would be rude of me to ask so much without properly introducing myself, I am The Judge of Sancia.
[After all, Luce is amongst people now. So, he wasn’t Luce. He had a role he had to act out and he would. Oh he wanted to look into those other entries, but if this were a dream they would probably be talking about potatoes and the color orange and how orange could be such an ugly color in many situations. And rude after all, he couldn’t just let people know he was sneaking around reading- and Abel said not to do that unless he was working.]
And I am quite new here.

Good morning, sir. Would Father be the appropriate title? I am Rei Hino, and I would be happy to answer your questions.
You are in Luceti, a sort of other world run by an organization known as the Malnosso. It is July the 5th, and the same organization brought you here. Nobody knows how they do it, to my knowledge.
I would advise against tampering with your wings, and there is a guide for newcomers.
Is there anything I can help you with?
Re: [video]
Correct, a pleasure to meet you Miss Rei. I have more than once found out about touching my newly acquired wings. [Not that it is stopping him from touching them like a kid would.] Yes, perhaps, have you seen a gentleman a few inches taller than myself around, slightly fat with freckles and a braid? [Might as well see if she has seen Abel.]
[Could be an enemy...]
Are you hurt? Sometimes the transition causes disorientation.
Re: [video]
I just. Want to be home.
[Her voice turns grave. Who would WANT to stay here? She had an important battle to get back to...but here she was. Honestly, statements like that annoyed her a little.]
How about food, drink?
Re: [video]

[She holds up the camera, showing him a general idea of the area]

Re: [Action]
A pleasure to finally see you, Miss Rei. That is, without the use of that book.
[Action]
And a pleasure to meet you too, Father. Please, call me Rei.
Re: [Action]
[Action]
[She can tell them apart, but...they look exactly alike]
They're friends of mine from home.
Re: [Action]
It is good they came with you then.
[Action]
I'm glad they did, it wouldn't feel right without them. They've been with me since I was very young.
[Phobos skips towards the man, looking up curiously before cawing up at him. Quietly, Rei holds out a handful of corn kernels]
Why don't you feed him? He likes you.
Re: [Action]
I'm glad he does, and they are very special to be with you for that long. I have seen many years pass along with many birds move on to their next lives.
[Action]
Japanese crows are surprisingly long-lived. And sharp, too.
[She says this somewhat absentmindedly, thinking of Hikawa shrine at home, and her first encounter with the crows]
Re: [Action]
But it must be one of those different world things.
[Action]
[She smiles, happy to explain]
Re: [Action]
[A little more of his 'judge' expression drops, into a bit of a confused smile.] Although, it is impossible for me to imagine other worlds. [At least it feels impossible! After all, where would some other world reside? He wonders if her world's Deity ever knew his own. Not that he cares about other worlds Deity, because he can't really think of any other world or such besides his own.]
[Action]
I felt that way at first, myself. But gradually I got used to it. The journals are a little strange, but give it some time and things will become easier.
Re: [Action]
[Action]
[She shakes her head]
That won't get rid of it.
