REQUEST: Can we keep things a little on the lighter side with Luce? I'd prefer to play silly/light drama over anything too heavy. Primarily because I have too much IRL Drama at the moment and without lots of prep I easily become too stressed/paranoid. I'm sorry.
This post will be used for a general HMD/contact post for me. Any comments please tell me here. IP logging off, Anon and Comment Screening on.

Character Name: Luce Blancos aka The Judge
Canon: OC
Game Transplant: Luceti
Original App: Here
Game Summary: A game where people are taken from their home worlds by creatures called the Malnosso, given wings and are experimented on.
How long was your character in Game: Six Months
History of Character in their Game:I will openly admit it has been over two years since playing him in the game and I am very fuzzy and trying to work off my memory for his history. Luce during his time in the game, while he was not much into the plot of the game was more focused on his emotional development. Specifically with Nico Robin, Rei Hino, Marco and a doctor named Adele. He was worried about how he would adapt to this new world without people knowing of his faith and position. During his time there, he was challenged to think more outside of the safety of his box. With Nico Robin, she took him under her wing to help teach him how to question, Adele made him over the course of time want to impress someone because he wanted to do so and not because he was told to. Rei became a gentle mentor in the ways of life and Marco- Marco became the closet thing to family Luce had ever had.
How did they change from their canon personality wise (Please explain what caused it to happen?) Luce has become less scared to investigate and maybe ask questions. He is learning that maybe, in fact he is more than the church of his world told him he was and is slowly building up self-confidence to do things that most people find natural.
How did they change from their canon physically (Please explain what caused it to happen?): Has a pair of dusty green wings that are about 3/4th his arm length. It came from joining Luceti.
Powers: His psychic abilities are his major strength with telepathy, empathy and telekinesis. While in comparison to a lot of anime/video game types this would seem weak, but for his world which is stuck in the 17th Century it makes him a powerhouse and he still has potential to grow, currently he could sense the feelings and thoughts of people within a 50 foot radius of him, and move things with his mind just under 800 pounds of grand total weight. He can move said items at the same speed he could throw something. A lot of his ability is based off of his imagination, and as mentioned in the weaknesses- he is not very imaginative, but if someone could plant an idea into his mind and let it grow with what the a psychic could do, he could one day gain that skill. Being in Luceti nerfed his abilities to his passive ones to a range of 25 feet and active weight for his active ones to 400 pounds.
Possessions: His clothes. Some of his scripture books from home.
Please provide three samples from your previous game, at least one will have to be third person with context:
Sample One: First Post, voice post- Luce is frightened, confused and trying to put on a brave face
Sample Two: In which Luce drops his notebook filled with terrible drawings, people are surprised that an ADULT drew this.
Sample Three: Luce is trying to be helpful with the advice he had learned in his time in Luceti.
Notes: Anything else? It has been a long time since playing Luce and I wish to get him active again. He had development in Luceti, but due to how slow paced the game was at the time, it doesn't seem like much.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character Name: Luce Blancos aka The Judge
Age: 34
World Information: World Building Post
The Country of Sancia is in a world much like ours during the time of the Spanish Inquisition. Average people, average jobs, old technology and a religious theocracy.
Character Information:
Appearance: He is the blond.
Luce is a pale man, roughly around 5'9 foot tall with gray eyes and blond hair. He is lithe with his entire build, showing that while he had access to food, he just didn't eat enough of it to gain as much weight as he should have. (This is not due to anything in particular besides him being a picky eater and others not giving into his pickiness). He seems a bit tired at all times. His clothing is the traditional clerical clothing of his world, which is a deep blue and green cassock with gold piping showing his rank. One unique trait about his clothing is how he always seems to be barefoot. This has left the soles of his feet to be much thicker than normal.
History:
Luce was born in the town of Dudondian as 'Joshua' on the outskirts of the country of Sancia to a baker and her husband, and they were quite happy considering they were a young couple and he was their first child. His time as a baby and a toddler was mostly normal except for the fact he would occasionally have seizures. The Church of the land said that due to his position in the birth order, they wouldn't need to worry about it (him being the first born, meant that his duty would be to the Bakery and taking care of his parents). When he was four, he started to show psychic abilities. In his world, this was unheard of unless one thinks of the time when Luce went to a group confessional and admitted he heard voices- the teacher said he was fibbing for attention. So when the parents went to the Church for help, the Church instead sent the Inquisition to find out. Joshua showed this ability, and instead of sentencing him to death like they had done to people they thought were witches, they figured he would be the ideal weapon for their cause. So the took him and killed everything else, removing the town from the map and blaming it on a local plague, figuring the best way to ensure that no one would ask questions about the boy, would be to hide his origins.
They renamed 'Joshua' to 'Luce' and the church told the populace that they had found him in an old church by the sea, telling the populace that he was created from the Deity to be The Judge of legend. While behind closed doors, they told the newly renamed 'Luce' that he was a demon made human, and that only working for them would his soul be turned into a human soul and he could hope for the day when he could enter paradise. This ensured his loyalty and started his blind faith to the church.
So, Luce spent his childhood years under the tight reign of the church, not trying to escape because he wanted to do good, but the lack of warmth in his childhood and only being used made the boy grow up jaded. His daily life would be wake up, wait for his room to be unlocked, eat, tutoring, eat and then work for the church. This left little room for him to grow and develop as a person, even though he didn't see a problem with it due to the Church's ingraining it into him that he needed nothing more than what they told him. And what they told him to do was be The Judge. The Judge was a character in their holy doctrine that would come to Judge the world and send those who were on the wrong path back to square one. So, when Luce appeared with his abilities to tell what a person has done and their feelings, the church figured either it was The Judge or a demonic being. They decided that no matter what they would use it for their own purposes. Luce would never see it that way, and that he was helping all along. But the nature of Luce's abilities were not something demonic, they were something that just simply appeared in him as a fluke of nature.
His one act of rebellion was when he was 10 and he ran away to do some renegade justice on the local rebel group where he killed one of the members and their family. He did this both because he wanted to do what he thought was 'good' but also because he wanted to do something without the church's control over him. When he came back from this deed, he realized he felt something odd inside of him, something that made him feel dirty but right at the same time. The church scolded him for leaving and praised him for this act- that he showed he was willing to go out of his way to help the church while some people were going against it. But still, he never got what he desired the most- affirmation that he was on the right path, and when he asked about his feelings, they were promptly brushed to the side and he was told not to worry about it. This left him with many questions on what he should feel but tried his best and it kept on nagging at him.
His goal as a child was to get the love and affirmation- which he never did get. So, when he was 11, he started to take his anger out on his keepers- the Pontiffs. If one stepped one toe out of line, he would see to their deaths via looking for anything they did wrong or scandalous. This only made the church proud of him for hunting out the wrong-doers instead of waiting to be told. His life was over all boring, he spent his life locked away from the population unless it was time for services or for him to Judge someone, this left him torn between his duty and his lack of development as a person. His only 'friends' were the birds he fed because he could toss bread to them on low roofs near his window. So he was painfully lonely, even if he didn't recognize it.
That is until he was 30 and he got his new Pontiff, Abel Ramos. Abel turned out to be an honestly good fellow. Which at first made Luce dislike him because the man must have been hiding something even if he couldn't find anything, Ramos was a simple yet honestly good fellow. Abel worked hard with Luce, helping the man, answering his questions about life and most importantly seeing the good in Luce.
Slowly Luce grew to like Abel, then one day he realized he more than liked him- he loved him. This is considered a sin in their world, worthy of hell if acted upon. So that and not knowing his own feelings he would have never figured this out unless he asked Abel and the other man spelled it out to him. So, figuring he was hellbound anyways, he told Abel his feelings, and Abel-as it turned out- returned them. So the two have been having to keep their relationship secret, knowing that if it did get out, Abel would be sentenced to death.
Personality:
Luce is a man of two distinct shades when it comes to his personality, and it depends on if he is with someone he trusts or not. First, I will explain him on a personal level. Luce is someone who is trying to gain acceptance, due to his childhood involving a severe lack of warmth and a little too much emotional abuse, Luce is trying to make up for it on some mental level. He does this by doing his job at The Judge to the best of his abilities. When he is around someone he trusts, they will see a man who without his abilities is as useless as tits on a boar. Luce was sheltered away and told he was only good for one thing (his abilities) so those were what he focused on. He craves acceptance from those he respects. He also craves being told he is 'good', much like a dog would. This again, has to do with his upbringing. Luce by himself, is lonely and is trying his best to understand himself and the world around him through the heavy filter of his religious brainwashing.
When he is working, (aka as The Judge). Luce is quick to Judge and is quite harsh. He sees the world in the black and white of 'Are they breaking the Church's laws?' and quickly deals with it. He seems smart, when all he is doing is parroting what he had been told to say. He can be considered merciless, but only because thats what he feels like he should be. Recently due to an outside influence (Abel) he has started to take some time to debate the judgements he is supposed to make.
But for both parts of him, he can be childishly cruel, blinded by his faith and lacking real world skills. He asks questions without a sense of shame about it- thinking they won't get answered and is thusly mildly pleased when they do. And he really needs both parts of himself to survive. When alone or with those he considers friends, it allows him to question himself, to be worried and to learn. Common questions are 'What is this feeling? Why am I feeling this?' but if he was not able to use the Judge as a mask, he could not interact socially. He would be like a manchild. With the Judge, it allows him to act within a set of rules, and not let his feelings-or confusion over feelings domineer him. To act within the logic set the church had set forth for him.
On a personal level, he as I mentioned before lacks real world skills, the ideas of cooking, cleaning and bills are all above him. He has never had to cook for himself, never had enough possessions to need to clean and his money is usually handled by someone else due to the fact he can be scammed quite easily as himself. He would want to try, but fail and give up, leaving it for those who know how to do it. He is technophobic and scared of large animals. The technophobia due to the fact he can't explain it and the large animals, because they are large animals that could kill him easily. He can be as dumb as a sack of rocks, his education only being to the level of reading, writing and some basic math. The Church did its best to keep him dumb by telling him to ignore his abilities unless he was working.
Luce tends to get happy over little things, such as nature, birds and just being accepted. He tries to keep his feelings protected-and once he trusts you he will allow you to see all of his emotions not holding them back, leaving him thinned skin (which if he was acting as himself he would lash out, but as The Judge he knows he is supposed to accept it.) A major down fall for him is his desire to make people in power happy and how he wants to be accepted. This makes him prone to making a lot of bad choices and giving into peer pressure even as an adult.

Hello everyone, it seems I have joined many of you in memory loss, but I have some questions that hopefully you can help me with.
1.) What is sexy, and why am I supposed to bring it back?
2.) Am I in love with you?
3.) It says I am the best big brother- are any of you my siblings?

Sep. 11th, 2012 06:21 pmHello everyone, I am sure you all have been drowned out with welcome messages so I figured I could tell everyone important facts about living here.
1.) I have recently been told, these books are not magic. So, they are safe to use.
2.) There are some animals here who are more like humans than animal types, please do not eat them. Just because they are shaped like birds or cats or hooved demon beasts from the bowels of the depths, they are not any less people although their shape might be disturbing.
3.) Do try and grow your own food, recently we did have some shortages. Remember, when growing potatoes do not put the entire spud into the dirt.
4.) Odd things happen. Such a bouncy floors and from what I have been told, moons crashing into the village. So, it might be good to stock up in case of worse case scenarios.
Thank you;
The Judge

Jul. 12th, 2012 10:54 pmI have been here for a week, and so far I have learned the following things:
1.) Nothing here makes sense.
2.) Animals are not supposed to talk, and they do. I think I prefer birds when they didn't have conversations outside my window.

Sermon One | Accidental | Voice
Jul. 5th, 2012 11:55 am[There was the sounds of birds chirping, leaves moving in the wind and the sound of someone mumbling to themselves.] This is not good at all- what if the Church thinks I ran away?
[Now the sound of grass rustling as someone is walking around.] But I have wings- so, maybe this is a dream? Maybe some symbolism? What do wings represent? Um. [There is more pacing.] Wings. Wings. Wings.
In the fifth book and the third sermon, Mother Monoya said 'And thusly The Lady felt as if she had wings, and was moving further from the body of the Dei-' [A gasp.] Nonono- Does this mean I am only moving further from the Church? But in the seventh sermon she said 'The Lady knew her spirit could soar and look down on the peoples of the lands, to see the full body of the Deity and learn of em.' So maybe its a sign because I am still ground bound that while I have wings I have the potential to fully learn of the Deity but I am stuck here by my own insecurities. What would Abel say?
What would HE say?
He would say: You're thinking too much about the symbolism, so why don't you just enjoy the idea of fliting around with my birds. But- there has to be a reason why I am dreaming about this. I have never dreamed about wings before. So, I will pretend I am on a journey in my dreamworld in my mind.
Maybe I will learn something and can bring it back to the waking world if I remember it. Which I won't. Because really, who remembers dreams in that much detail? What is this? [Suddenly the journal is picked up. There is a bespectacled man with gray eyes and light blond hair. He narrows his eyes as he looks over the journal and realizes it is recording. Suddenly, the expression quickly changes, from one curiosity, to fear to neutral. Almost blank. Luce can see other people in it, so he knew that he had to be impersonal- be The Judge.]
To whom is using this…device-
['It is a dream right? So, it can’t be witchcraft, right?' He thinks to himself]
I require some information on this locale and perhaps someone could tell me why I have wings.
[Why ponder symbolism when one can simply have it spelled out to him. His mind would be nice and tell him, right? Right!]
I have just arrived, and judging from other notes I have seen, others have just arrived too.
[Luce paused as he tried to think of how to sort this out mentally.]
I know it is improper of me to read into their personal affairs, so perhaps could someone be so polite to tell me the answers to the basic questions:
Who is in charge here?
What am I doing here?
When is this?
Where am I?
and How did I get here?
[Luce pauses for a few more moments, feeling out the next sentence in his mouth.]
Of course, it would be rude of me to ask so much without properly introducing myself, I am The Judge of Sancia.
[After all, Luce is amongst people now. So, he wasn’t Luce. He had a role he had to act out and he would. Oh he wanted to look into those other entries, but if this were a dream they would probably be talking about potatoes and the color orange and how orange could be such an ugly color in many situations. And rude after all, he couldn’t just let people know he was sneaking around reading- and Abel said not to do that unless he was working.]
And I am quite new here.

Character
Name: Luce Blancos, aka The Judge
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Wing Color: Dusty Green
Physical Appearance (Here you can either link us to a picture or provide descriptive text): He is the blond.
History: Luce was born in the town of Dudondian as 'Joshua Garza' on the outskirts of the country of Sancia to a baker and her husband, and they were quite happy considering they were a young couple and he was their first child. In his world, this was unheard of unless one thinks of the time when Luce went to a group confessional and admited he heard voices- the teacher said he was fibbing for attention.
But I am hoping that in this game because he will be out of this control, he starts to develop on his own and learn how to survive without some sort of mental hand-holding from others. That he can start to have some of that brainwashing lifted away and thus allowing the character to discover himself without having to parrot other people.
Strengths: His psychic abilities are his major strength with telepathy, empathy and telekinesis. On an emotional level, when he trusts someone, he trusts fully and deeply and would be willing to do anything he can for them, while they have to suffer through his almost child-like way of expression. His personal naivety has made him painfully optimistic about life, although not about people. He is a walking dictionary for his faith which means he can fake being wise. Lately he has been trying to learn to think in shades of gray, and if being told he is thinking in black and white he would try and quickly correct it.
Weaknesses: Luce's psychic abilities are very limited by his imagination so to speak, he can not imagine hearing the thoughts of someone he could not realistically see well if there were no barriers, just like he can't imagine something moving faster than he can throw it. The weight limit he has for his TK is the max because outside of barn animals, he can not imagine something weighing more than that. He is not very imaginative, so that helps prevent a lot of possible growth with his abilities. He is physically weak due to his sheltered up bringing and occasionally has seizures (which people in his time period thinks it is for over use of his abilities instead of Epilepsy). He is dumb, emotionally dependent, lonely, sheltered, prone to following people in power, childishly cruel, as the Judge he puts on a HUGE fake ego, is easily hurt emotionally and doesn't know how to respond to it. He is naive when it comes to things, and honestly feels lost if he can't use his faith or have someone he trusts to give him cues. He lets his fears rule him. Luce gets angry and defensive when he doesn't know something that people make it look like he should know. Luce is just now learning how to think in 'grays' so, sometimes he might think of something as more severe or less severe than what it really is.
In Luceti, his abilities would be nerfed to his range for passive abilities (such as telepathy and empathy) to 25 feet and the weight limit to 400 pounds.

Samples (ALL samples must be set in Luceti-verse.)
First Person: From the Training Wings Meme
AND
[There was the sounds of birds chirping, leaves moving in the wind and the sound of someone mumbling to themselves.] This is not good at all- what if the Church thinks I ran away?
[Suddenly the journal is picked up.]
Third Person: When the journal is picked up, there is a bespectacled man with gray eyes and light blond hair. He narrows his eyes as he looks over the journal and realizes it is recording. Suddenly, the expression quickly changes, from one curiosity, to fear to neutral. Almost blank. Luce can see other people in it, so he knew that he had to be impersonal- be The Judge.
“To whom is using this…device-“ It is a dream right? So, it can’t be witchcraft, right? “I require some information on this locale and perhaps someone could tell me why I have wings”. Why ponder symbolism when one can simply have it spelled out to him. His mind would be nice and tell him, right? Right! “I have just arrived, and judging from other notes I have seen, others have just arrived too.” Luce paused as he tried to think of how to sort this out mentally.
“I know it is improper of me to read into their personal affairs, so perhaps could someone be so polite to tell me the answers to the basic questions:
Who is in charge here?
What am I doing here?
When is this?
Where am I?
and How did I get here?”
The man paused for a few more moments, feeling out the next sentence in his mouth.
“Of course, it would be rude of me to ask so much without properly introducing myself, I am The Judge of Sancia.” After all, Luce is amongst people now. So, he wasn’t Luce. He had a role he had to act out and he would. Oh he wanted to look into those other entries, but if this were a dream they would probably be talking about potatoes and the color orange and how orange could be such an ugly color in many situations. And rude after all, he couldn’t just let people know he was sneaking around reading- and Abel said not to do that unless he was working. “And I am quite new here.”
