I have been here for a week, and so far I have learned the following things:

1.) Nothing here makes sense.
2.) Animals are not supposed to talk, and they do. I think I prefer birds when they didn't have conversations outside my window.
3.) Everyone seems to carry their witchbook around, people should lock them up someplace.
4.) There are a lot of strange folks here with odd ways.
5.) What is there to do besides sit around?
6.) Why am I even writing this in here? Note to self: invest in a journal.

It is odd for me to adapt to. I doubt everyone came here and didn't think the different worlds and customs and ideas were all quite strange.

[Well, if he were to admit it, it wasn't very "normal" for him when he came either. But it's different now - he is friends with some of these people.

Not to mention that... in his world, how he looks is still strange... completely unwanted even. Which maybe is why he's so defensive about this.]

Maybe it is "odd" for you... but we are just the same as anybody else - anybody you would think is "normal".

I think, it will still take me time to adapt. I do not trust these books, I worry about the food magicked into being, and talking horses.

... He would think being a 7 1/2-foot-tall beast would be much more difficult to adapt to - alright, he should answer this, somehow.]

... They are just books. And the... [Grr...] Malnosso give us the food.

Books you can read, and they don't send messages to people. You read them, and you shut them, and everything inside of them stays the same.

And we should just grow our own food. And not trust the Malnosso food. What if it is drugged.

[He can't help but give a rolling of his eyes. Books like that are more boring - at least this book lets you talk to people.]

Drugged... like... poisoned? ... Well, it hasn't killed me. And I've had it for, uh... ten months.

In the food? [... Alright... there was that fruit once.] ... Y... yes, it... happens. But not in the stores. [Yet.]

... And he's... from the same pl- uh, world? [This is new to him. He didn't think it was possible for two people from the same world to come at once.]
