Sermon Two | Text

I have been here for a week, and so far I have learned the following things:

1.) Nothing here makes sense.
2.) Animals are not supposed to talk, and they do. I think I prefer birds when they didn't have conversations outside my window.
3.) Everyone seems to carry their witchbook around, people should lock them up someplace.
4.) There are a lot of strange folks here with odd ways.
5.) What is there to do besides sit around?
6.) Why am I even writing this in here? Note to self: invest in a journal.

Well, that's an easy one. You open the book, talk into it, and it records you. Or you can write, I guess, but personally? I think it's too much of a hassle.

[At least she's got big, adorable eyes and a much smaller snout than most horses--

...though that probably doesn't help much, really.]

[It makes it seem like a parody horse. He has no idea how to react, besides it being bigger than a medium sized dog, which worries him.]

But how?

I dunno. Magic. Some weirdo technology... could be anything!

I figure it's easier to just roll with it. Saves you one heck of a headache!

I don't trust magic! Who knows what is going on with it.

[wannabolt]

What's not to trust? Magic's pretty standard where I'm from, anyway.

You don't know how its made, and in my world it comes from dark things.

[wannabolt]

Dark things? Like what?

[Sure there's evil magic, but still. Unicorns totally aren't spooky. Usually.]

Demonics. Creatures made of sin.

[wannabolt]

Sin?

[...Huh?]

So, wait. It comes from demons?

[inheavenslight]

Humans sin, demonics are created from that sin. Then with their abilities, they offer humans things like magic and instant wealth. Which creates more sin.

[wannabolt]

So they take advantage of people, huh? Sounds like nasty business.

[inheavenslight]

The people let themselves fall for it.
