I have been here for a week, and so far I have learned the following things:

1.) Nothing here makes sense.
2.) Animals are not supposed to talk, and they do. I think I prefer birds when they didn't have conversations outside my window.
3.) Everyone seems to carry their witchbook around, people should lock them up someplace.
4.) There are a lot of strange folks here with odd ways.
5.) What is there to do besides sit around?
6.) Why am I even writing this in here? Note to self: invest in a journal.

That depends on your view. In my world, magic is quite natural and is a blessing given to us by our Goddesses to make our lives easier.

In my world, is is something made by demonics to try and insult the Deity.

Then I can see how you would view it as unnatural for your world. [In fact, Hugo somewhat understands considering that the magic of his world spawned demons into existence.] In others it isn't.

Maybe that's the issue, none of us really know for sure how the journals work. So you place the values of your own world to it so it isn't an unknown.

Because thus far only two things make sense.

One. The values of home.
Two. Potatoes.

[And Hugo is at a bit of an advantage with dealing with Luceti, because his own world stopped making sense in many ways before he arrived here.]

Why potatoes? Do you not have those at home?

I do, I know they are delicious no matter the world.

And they exist here as well. Or are you bothered by the fact that the grocery store just seems to restock itself?

You can't sense curses? [Strange, even Yunica could in his world and she's an utter failure at magic.]

I admit, my familiarity with them is limited, but I can sense the curses just fine. Nothing here has felt strange or cursed to me.

Does your Deity provide any holy artifacts to protect against evil? [The Goddesses in Hugo's world have given his people some, so maybe other worlds are the same.]

We have no such things, because if we don't sin, we don't make demonics.

If there are no or weak demonics, we don't have to worry.
