I have been here for a week, and so far I have learned the following things:

1.) Nothing here makes sense.
2.) Animals are not supposed to talk, and they do. I think I prefer birds when they didn't have conversations outside my window.
3.) Everyone seems to carry their witchbook around, people should lock them up someplace.
4.) There are a lot of strange folks here with odd ways.
5.) What is there to do besides sit around?
6.) Why am I even writing this in here? Note to self: invest in a journal.

You don't have your journal locked up!

I would if I could find a decent place to lock it up at. Thus far, it has returned to me twice.

Well, that's probably 'cause it's important, don't you think?

I have survived without a magic book thus far in my life, I think I could survive longer.

It's the easiest way to talk to everyone, though!

We're in a small area, and besides, what could be so important that everyone must know, Ms-?

Ikki. And I think mostly it's just like a newspaper but for people's lives, and you can talk to people when they're far away an' stuff.

Why would anyone really care whats going on in people's lives. It isn't as if I will post a picture of my breakfast and go:

Today, Abel served me cereal with toast and butter. I still wonder who makes the butter here.

And then people will comment with their theories on where butter comes from.

Well, why wouldn't they? Anyway, I think the Malnosso sorta just poof in supplies.

Abel's the nice person who talked about em, right?

Sure did. Through this!

You see, Abel is someone everyone should meet at one point. He is one of the few good people I know.

He seemed nice! I liked him. And see, so this isn't a bad book! 'Cause you get to meet people you might not run into in town.

But that could be a mixed blessing, too...

I think it's what you let it be! If you're starting out saying it's bad, then it'll probably be bad, right?

Could be, but it is better to be safe then risk it.

Well, why'd you write, then?

It was more on an accidental running notes to myself. Which is why I should invest in a real journal and not a magical one.

Well, you don't have to invest, really, 'cause it's all free.

Which also worries me. Usually things come with some sort of price.

Well, being stuck in a place with your powers cut in half and no way of getting home could be a price, I guess, if you need one?

That seems like defanging a wolf and giving it food so it doesn't kill you.

I think you just like being grumpy.
