I have been here for a week, and so far I have learned the following things:

1.) Nothing here makes sense.
2.) Animals are not supposed to talk, and they do. I think I prefer birds when they didn't have conversations outside my window.
3.) Everyone seems to carry their witchbook around, people should lock them up someplace.
4.) There are a lot of strange folks here with odd ways.
5.) What is there to do besides sit around?
6.) Why am I even writing this in here? Note to self: invest in a journal.

Okay.

But you just said you're closed off from the outside world. Which means you close yourself off from other people. How can you really judge others if you don't even know anything about the people you're judging?

I know the laws, and I know what is inside a person.

Eiko, from Madain Sari! How about you? Do you have a name or do I have to keep calling you Mr. Judge or something?

I have never heard of Madain Sari. And yes, that is my title.

[Okay, Judge it is! Eiko's sticking with that for now.]

Well... most people haven't, so I'm not surprised. It's the village of summoners.

Summoners? Summoners of what? [He narrows his eyes.]

Eidolons, what else?

[Said matter-of-factly, as if everyone knows this!]

That's what summoners do and all. We communicate with eidolons. 'Cept there really isn't any left, so... it's just me now.

You talk to things that are summoned. [She has been left alone. It is obvious what happened!

[Well, there's Dagger too, really. Up 'till just recently she thought she was the only one left.]

Well, yeah. I don't really talk talk to them--that's what my horn's for. But I can't really hear their voices here.

Did these things give you the horn?

Nope, I was born with it. All summoners have horns.

I can talk to faeries and wild animals with it too. But it's kind of pointless when they already talk here, don't you think?
