I have been here for a week, and so far I have learned the following things:

1.) Nothing here makes sense.
2.) Animals are not supposed to talk, and they do. I think I prefer birds when they didn't have conversations outside my window.
3.) Everyone seems to carry their witchbook around, people should lock them up someplace.
4.) There are a lot of strange folks here with odd ways.
5.) What is there to do besides sit around?
6.) Why am I even writing this in here? Note to self: invest in a journal.

Ruler? King? Some human person who enforces or "interprets" the laws.

The Church?

They tell me what the laws are, and I have to Judge if they are broken or not.

Who leads the Church? Anyone? Are there other judges?

The Council of the 7 Priests.

Understood. So you take orders from them, or if you disagree on the err... [Fumbles over the word but seems to get it eventually] scriptures, can you still go your own way?

Why would anyone want to disagree with them? I never understood that.

[Flat stare. This guy is serious. Oh his gosh, an absolute justice type who doesn't even know it. Well all right, at least the guy doesn't seem too unreasonable yet. Possibly because being surrounded 100% by heathens means you can't convert all of them instantly and well. Bird.]

I exist, right? Or do you think you've lost your mind? [He has a point to all of this.]

Birds talk here, and I like birds. So I sanely accept your existence.

[Marco will be so amused by that and claim that he has to bring it back to the pineapples instead of eating it himself. You know, to be polite.]

Assuming you remembered all this upon going home, would you be allowed to tell anyone about it or would it be against the law?

It would be against the law, because it would make people think what is okay in one world is okay in our world.

Then you acknowledge what might be okay for one world, might not be okay for another, right?

Correct, but I will abide to the ones of my world. Because that is where I come from and where I return.

That's fine, do what you want. So long as you don't expect people from other worlds to abide by yours when they don't come from there, might have never come across those sets of rules or thinking, eh?

As for why people from your own world still might disagree, many people think what might be good for one person, might not be as good for another. Just as one of my friends does better eating enough to feed a small army, but my other friend eats like a bird. If you say they both have to eat a medium amount, they'd both get sick.

But what is good in my world is good for everyone. It isn't like food, its for their own good.

So is food. People aren't so simple that the same things are always good for everyone or every circumstance. You were never told about stories of phoenixes in your world, but now you're talking to one. It might have prevented you from doubting your beliefs, but now you're unprepared for talking birds.

Because you're the only one because pineapples taught you.

There are other talking birds here, eh.

And other phoenixes.

Or you haven't met them yet. I'm just the most antagonistic of us. Part of my pineapple upbringing. We always had to be ready to do war with the coconuts.

Coconuts? What did they do?

Speak not of the Great Coconut War of the 80s. They were dark times.

You know over 60 people yearly die from coconuts? Not in Luceti, because there aren't any, but in my world. Pineapples never kill anyone.

No. We have coconut cultists who try to replace all the pineapple drinks with coconut smoothies instead. Can you imagine the end of Pina coladas? That is why the 80s were so awful. You couldn't go into a reasonable bar without some cultist trying to help the coconuts take over the world.

[If only this pirate had a better conscience. Or if he just had someone who actually held him check. Enjoy Luce, because this is likely to be a long insane deadpan ride.]

[On the "bright" side if Marco likes him enough he might spread the word about the hilarious psuedo-marine to his other troll friends.]

Only the greatest drink ever matey. [Honestly, Marco barely ever drinks them... especially since they actually have coconut in them. Seriously.] Pineapple, rum, cream or sugar, and a bit of lime juice. The limes were always our allies against the evil coconuts, eh.

Aye! Many songs were sung about their pineapplicious splendor. Until the cults came.... That was when it all went sour. And not lime-sour, but coconut sour.
