I have been here for a week, and so far I have learned the following things:

1.) Nothing here makes sense.
2.) Animals are not supposed to talk, and they do. I think I prefer birds when they didn't have conversations outside my window.
3.) Everyone seems to carry their witchbook around, people should lock them up someplace.
4.) There are a lot of strange folks here with odd ways.
5.) What is there to do besides sit around?
6.) Why am I even writing this in here? Note to self: invest in a journal.

Interesting. My world has similar laws to protect the government. In my experience, however; such things are doomed to fail eventually. Hiding the entire existence of people still alive is a pretty complex loose end.

Is Sancia your world, country, or something different?

It is my Country.

Sounds even more difficult for them then. Do other countries have myths?

I do not know. I was raised by the Church.

So you're a priest now?

Informally. I can do sermons in case others don't want to. But my title is Judge.

So the church is part of the government then?

Correct, it is a Theocracy.

[There's some quick scratching sounds as Marco scribbles some notes to himself for later. No easy feat as he isn't bothering to switch out of phoenix form.]

I see. And the Lord is a living Saint, is it?

Do you know about the other countries in your world?

No, the Deity is the Earth.

I see. And what is the Lord then?

The Lord?

Ruler? King? Some human person who enforces or "interprets" the laws.

The Church?

They tell me what the laws are, and I have to Judge if they are broken or not.

Who leads the Church? Anyone? Are there other judges?

The Council of the 7 Priests.

Understood. So you take orders from them, or if you disagree on the err... [Fumbles over the word but seems to get it eventually] scriptures, can you still go your own way?

Why would anyone want to disagree with them? I never understood that.

[Flat stare. This guy is serious. Oh his gosh, an absolute justice type who doesn't even know it. Well all right, at least the guy doesn't seem too unreasonable yet. Possibly because being surrounded 100% by heathens means you can't convert all of them instantly and well. Bird.]

I exist, right? Or do you think you've lost your mind? [He has a point to all of this.]

Birds talk here, and I like birds. So I sanely accept your existence.

[Marco will be so amused by that and claim that he has to bring it back to the pineapples instead of eating it himself. You know, to be polite.]

Assuming you remembered all this upon going home, would you be allowed to tell anyone about it or would it be against the law?

It would be against the law, because it would make people think what is okay in one world is okay in our world.

Then you acknowledge what might be okay for one world, might not be okay for another, right?

Correct, but I will abide to the ones of my world. Because that is where I come from and where I return.

That's fine, do what you want. So long as you don't expect people from other worlds to abide by yours when they don't come from there, might have never come across those sets of rules or thinking, eh?

As for why people from your own world still might disagree, many people think what might be good for one person, might not be as good for another. Just as one of my friends does better eating enough to feed a small army, but my other friend eats like a bird. If you say they both have to eat a medium amount, they'd both get sick.
