I have been here for a week, and so far I have learned the following things:

1.) Nothing here makes sense.
2.) Animals are not supposed to talk, and they do. I think I prefer birds when they didn't have conversations outside my window.
3.) Everyone seems to carry their witchbook around, people should lock them up someplace.
4.) There are a lot of strange folks here with odd ways.
5.) What is there to do besides sit around?
6.) Why am I even writing this in here? Note to self: invest in a journal.

No. A good tipoff to that is that the birds from other worlds are given an extra set of wings. It's damned annoying.

I'm from an ocean called the Grand Line. The second half, the New World. But it's not literally another world like Luceti.

So, how do you fly? It must get quite confusing.

The wings they give you can't be used to fly. I just cheat and tuck them under my flames when I'm flying.

But it was harder for the dragon since his fake wings have feathers and he's not used to them.

Whats a phoenix?

A fire bird of mythology, regeneration, and sparkles. [The sparkles are clearly the most important part.]

I have never heard of such a thing.

You've never heard of talking animals or pineapples before either.

But I'm actually surprised, most worlds seem to have some sort of stories about phoenixes, they're just usually considered myths or fictional.

The Land of Sancia forbids stories that might challenge the faith. Such as with Myths.

Interesting. My world has similar laws to protect the government. In my experience, however; such things are doomed to fail eventually. Hiding the entire existence of people still alive is a pretty complex loose end.

Is Sancia your world, country, or something different?

I do not know. I was raised by the Church.
